Just seen Tommys foul thought it was harsh as Flynn knocked the ball away from goal and he wouldn't have scored from there without taking a touch allowing the defence to get back.

Tend to agree with that having seen it this morning. I suspect the fact he'd sent Higdon off already made him dismiss Tommy. Had it still been 11 v 11 then I think he would have only booked Tommy. I also think had it been in the box he'd have only booked him.

Yesterday's game perfectly shows how pointless discussion about referee's is.

Bobs Board: "Higdon definite red, if you think differently you're an idiot. Tommy should only have got a booking, ref just looking to even it up. Ref had a good game, first time all season."

S24SU: "Higdon was only a booking, Jones reaction was a disgrace and conned the ref into a red. If you think differently you're an idiot. Goalie should have gone and Georg should have got sent off too. Ref was a disgrace, why do we always get them."

I think everyone agrees refereeing is a difficult job. The best ref performances are when you don't notice them...however, compared to the garbage we've had at the Proact this season, I think he and the linesmen did a good job yesterday. United fans are going to complain coz they lost...we've had garbage refs but still won!

Seems like we're not the only ones who complain.
Were they that bad?
