Hockaday sacked

This has to be the most obvious sacking since nick lesson wrote his 'I'm sorry' note

Hockaday sacked

I told my Leeds supporting mates he would be gone before 10 games were up...most obvious sacking ever.....why employ him, when he really didn't have the credentials!!! A big championship team needs a big ego manager, not one that was sacked as manager of a non league team....feel sorry for the supporters really....imagine if we were going through that!! You'd be tearing your hair out....Leeds are on a long slippery slope!!

 crazy appointment to begin with! Just hope hey don't come a sniffin at our door!

I credit Cook with the intelligence to realise he would be bonkers to get involved with those nutcases. We know he's had some financial limits here, but I can't see him leaving to go somewhere where he's told who to buy/how to play by some Italian madman. The next manager will be Italian, for sure.

I think whoever was incharge unless they won every single game would have been sacked. whoever take the job best be clever and get a sacking clause in to pocket loads of easy cash

And now the Watford manager Beppe Sannino resigns with his team second in the division stating it's time he moved on....who reckons he's been tapped up by Cellino for the Leeds job?

Skysports are reporting that Hockaday has been given a £10,000 pay off by Leeds. If his pay off is so small his original contact must have been pretty poor. It looks like his was probably just there as a caretaker manager while the chairman waited for somebody else to become available.

Being as the owner probably picks the team, and has sacked numerous managers over his football club owning career, why doesn't he appoint himself as manager, and let him see just how hard the job is?
