Yeah it seems to be true. On phone so difficult to post link but there is an article in The Mirror online confirming.

Probably best to have a separate thread from the matchday one. Seems a bit more respectful than chucking it in with score updates.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Just been mentioned on Soccer Saturday.
Alfreton and Matlock’s games both called off today.

Apparently it hasn't been confirmed that he has passed away. He is reportedly on life support in hospital, the police and both Matlock and Alfreton have not confirmed Jordan has passed yet.

Someone needs to have a word with themselves if they've started such a sick rumour.

All now deleted.

From my Twitter.

RE Jordan Sinnott.

As far as we are aware, JS is the man in question however it has NOT been confirmed that he has passed away.

Sinnott was assaulted last night and remains on life support in hospital.

__

Jordan was rushed to hospital last night with a suspected fractured skull.

When news first broke that he had passed, he was 100% ALIVE.

It is up to his family to make this decision, not social media.

BBC Radio Derby will be the first to update you otherwise.

There are still mixed reports out there regarding his condition.......someone has already edited his Wikipedia page.
