Yeah, get that, but a 5 page thread on him leaving makes me think his departure is very much a relevant topic, despite the guy himself being an irrelevance.

Thought it might make for quite a good atmosphere as opposed to souring it! Something to celebrate for a change, and also ammo for when he inevitably pipes up in the future!

If it came across as a dig at you it certainly wasn't and the length of the thread does back up the disgust at him, just how I was thinking myself.
East stand second class citizen.

I'd prefer to celebrate a decent performance and another win by the boys representing us today rather than a Remembrance Day for somebody that gave us nothing to remember.

Then, I note that much of this so called thread about Gerrard is taken up by posters trying to come up with names of the worse signing ever - should we come up with a song for each one of those to celebrate that they are no longer at CFC?

No, not at all. Just get behind today's team and be a true twelfth man.

Mick Astbury and Colin Prophett have to be up there with the worst signings.

Prophett was crap but somewhat redeemed himself with scoring a late equaliser in a three all draw versus Wednesday at Saltergate boxing day 1978. Edit already mentioned lol.
