Does a business the size of CFC require full time IT support staff? That’s what they are paying for it it’s 50k plus.

Maybe if it is unreliable as it seems

Worryingly, in the accounts supplied to shareholders the outgoings itemised under ’administration’ is an eye opener and the cost of IT doesn’t particularity standout.

Couldn’t believe it when I saw we are paying £250,000 a year for the upkeep of the pitch and training ground. I am sure savings could be made on this.

We could perhaps employ our own groundsman ?

Oh! wait a minute.

For that money you can employ 2 full time groundsmen, buy all the equipment needed in year 1 and still save £100,000.
Is this another of the AC negotiated contracts?

No it’s not, there are other cheaper and just as effective renovation methods that can be used.We should be slit tining during the winter to help drainage and provide slits for the roots to grow into.End of season renovation can then consist of hollow coring, top dressing and over seeding with compatible products, give it a high nitrogen feed and then use the irrigation. You can pay a bit more money for pre germinated seed and give you playability in 4-6 weeks. Maximum of 3 days for 2 men to complete the task.

Difficult to see who else had the authority, pal.

But either way any incoming owner must surely go through these deals and decide if they're value for money.

Then perhaps if not, why not...

AC tells me it does not say for the Pitch and Training Ground.
The £250,000 is not solely for that. It says Ground Upkeep and Premises Expenses. It is absolutely no where near that figure. It is less than £50,000 even with £15,000 worth of remedial work in the Summer

Then releasing the detailed accounts, showing exactly who had what and when, would quell any further misunderstandings.

Over to you, Ash...

Could you please ask him which schedule item contains the provision for settling the Development School bill, and what the eventual agreed amount was?

I would doubt the entire spend is IT related.

Would that be applicable the 2018/2019 accounts?

To be fair it doesn’t

Ground upkeep and premises expenses £242K
Repairs and Maintenance £184K

That lot could hide a multitude on sins.

When you add in Rates, Light and Heat then ground costs add up to £800K and people ask where the money goes☹️

Match day expenses, nearly £250K, that’s nearly a third of season ticket and gate receipts m.

So many other expenses in the £10K’s or £100K’s

It's a miracle how you get advanced sight of this.

As a means of trying to fully understand Chris's posts further down, I'm going to try and interpret this in English..

I think what it says is that Steve C has put £14k into CFC coffers, presumably on sponsoring the lounge etc; and has taken out £58k, presumably for providing IT services and maybe other things like, guessing, office space and lodgings.

I'm struggling to see how this may be construed as unreasonable - One IT support man for 1 year. What am I missing?
Are we saying he should forego the payment because of club circumstances? - he's presumably got a mortgage to pay.

Have you read Mike Warner's notes? Someone should chuck him a two piece jigsaw.

35k was the original annual cost of relaying the surface.
God I hate this league.

He makes the point it was only settled in December, so will appear in next years accounts
