Every problem has a solution. - Why not make available printed seat tickets either in a block or in certain stands for fans to purchase in cash through the tills of the community trust?
The trust collects the money on behalf of the club and receives a 10% handling charge for their involvement. We are talking about a handful of fans who feel they are being let down by the clubs decision to not sell at the club on a Wednesday. Where is the harm in printing off 20 tickets, make them available through the Hub and credit back the tickets on the Thursday for those not sold?
I'm guessing fans will still moan as they can't choose their seats as the seat numbers would have to be allocated by the club, a bit like we all have to put up with at away games

That would be ok for say the north stand, but whatever tickets are printed out to sell manually would have to be taken off sale online etc.

I don't usually get involved with these debates but 4 pages on something so simple is hard to understand. Fans are either wrong for not reading the clubs website or not buying online. The club took a financial decision of closing the shop and ability to purchase tickets directly from the club, none of those points are wrong either.

That seems to be a very simple solution to a minor problem and one that would also generate good PR. Look for a solution rather than an excuse. It’s good business practice.

Tickets which would then be binned if not sold.
I'm further told the idea was ignored...

which is precisely what I said on post 20.
I am sure Crooty could have thought of it. He could even spend Wednesdays working in CFC reception to troubleshoot any problem that crops up. Does his technology allow hot desking?
The farcical aspect of all this, assuming we are not promoted, is that Carson's masterplan is that a CEO is not required, so all the duties are going to be assigned to current staff. That bodes well then.
I wonder if Carson or Warner or Croot are capable of completing a compterised ticket sale? I doubt it.

No need to bin anything Chris, just issue credit notes as if they had been returned.

Mine was more detail Dave and I don't like the word 'get'. A simple suggestion with a solution with a polite request to the staff of the Community Trust is far better than ordering someone to do something which is not in their remit. I agree though that JC could have resolved this minor issue which has now escalated into a 5 page slanging match.
