Michael Nelson was actually a good player for Gateshead and was a coach as well so it's a double blow and everyone was sad to see him go. It also means that Gateshead will be a one man show in the dugout as Mike Williamson will have to keep playing, club would be 2 defenders down. Still he was actually from Gateshead so I expected it he left it would be for a more local club

Understand Brentford's reported interest in #Barnsleyfc Jacob Brown genuine. They along with 3 other Championship and 1 #EPL club are monitoring his progress. However, hearing a transfer more likely in the summer, but that may change.

One that I obviously missed elsewhere - Levi Amantchi is playing for Staveley Miners Welfare tonight. Loan, I expect.

Can't help thinking that Levi's heart isn't in football, he has done nothing positive for about a year now, time will be running out for him if he doesn't show Pembo that he is worth keeping. Wakefield,Sharman and Rawson all seem to be shaping up well but I worry about Levi's hunger for the game.

I agree. He appeared to be trying TOO hard last night if that makes sense, bit greedy on the ball and maybe thinking he had to score cos of where he’s come from. Some much better footballers on the pitch than him for Staveley.
