Don’t like seeing the Aussies win but watching India bottle it in their own back yard after they’ve pulled every trick in the book to ensure they win it is very amusing.

Agreed highly amusing after the pitch shenanigans. kohli looked as though he wasn’t going to walk thinking, it’s me I can’t be out!

I just wish I had a share in the Company that makes the blue Indian cricket shirt lol

On the cricket side how the Aussies started the world cup they were being written off as no hopers but they know how to come to the boil at just the right moment

Also you only have to look at how they sing their national anthem to see how much it means to them

I know it doesnt mean everything but you only have to look at our mumbling ****** when singing the national anthem including some who dont even sing it lol

Did we sing the anthem better when we won it last time around?

There must be snakes in the pitch in Cape Town, Saffa's all out for 55, India all out for 163 (and 6 of them out for ducks) then Saffa's 62-3 in their second innings, and that just day 1, could be over in 2 days!

India went from 153-4 to 153 all out in 11 balls. First time in test cricket a team has lost 6 wickets on the same score.

That said the SA team for their next test in NZ will be a bit different….pretty much 11 debutants as the normal test team are all playing in the domestic SA T20 comp.

I’ve got some cricket memorabilia if anyone is interested. A signed 2023 cricket bat from Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

I won it in a raffle and I’m not a huge fan of the sport.

As no one wants this wonderfully signed free cricket bat at I have decided to sell it on FB marketplace and donate the proceeds to Ashgate Hospice so the giveaway is now off the table..

Cheers

Totally agree, never saw that coming at the end of Day 2, great knock by Pope as he made the India attack look like Clarevoyant was bowling.

Just spotted a town flag in the crowd

Anyone know anyone who’s over there?

I know a couple but they are Notts County and Leeds fans

Last 2 days of the match against India have been shocking for England, why is Bairstow in the team, Root needs to take a good luck at himself

Bairstow is only in the team because Brook is unavailable. Root needs to realise he should be the anchor for the side not the flash at everything player, if he wants to play at #4 he should play as a #4. Also got to remember we actually went into the game with 4 wicketkeepers in the side.
