Many rumours that PC wants to sign the lad and a deal is in the offing.
You guys watched the lad, he can obviously play the loan striker. What did you think of him at league 2?

The loan striker?

Who is PC (Perry Como?) and why would Doyle need to drop two divisions to get a game when he scored plenty in the division above last season?

Why the hell would Doyle want to drop from the Championship to a League 2 also ran team? Living in cloud cuckoo land!
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Did he not join a league 2 club from the SPL?

Oh, I forgot. We took your manager, assistant and at the time, best player.
We got a bargain and are really enjoying the football and entertainment.
Worked out well for everyone. You seem so enamoured with DS that we did you a favour, right?

Thankyou sir. It seemed weird Cardiff get him and then don't play him and willing to offload him so soon

You're welcome to Cook and Roberts mate, Cook is a decent manager if given big bucks, teddy will be thrown out as soon as his spending gets reigned in..but as a person he's nothing more than a two bit, sound bite, two faced big man who surrounds himself with sycophants and lackies. Roberts is probably a L2 player nowadays and went for a last big payday, I certainly don't blame him for that. Doyle? Well I doubt you could afford him and if he's genuinely available I don't thing L2 is an option, but if he goes there, so what!
East stand second class citizen.

I think he struggles with the physical side of the game so may not be good for league 2

You mean the team nobody has heard of that is playing at a higher level than you? We've had 3 players go to championship clubs and probably another on the way. Of course Roberts who dropped to the basement was our best player lol. You've signed a good player on a contract to long for his legs to last out on massive wages. Pop, I can almost hear the bubble bursting again

Save the rest of your sparkling insightful conversation and banter for another time.
Thanks for the info Newbold, it was all I required and can now go on my way.
There's a lesson there somewhere but am wondering most of the others would be able to fathom it out?!
No need to answer.

I must HAVE spent .......... If you're talking to me, get it right!

And no, I had a full night's sleep last night thanks. I'm just not in the mood for reasoned debate today; sometimes it just doesn't get the desired result.
