That'd be Portsmouth managed by Paul Cook who regularly hauled O'Shea off as first substitution or left him on the bench would it, OK.

True but he's far better than what they have, so you never know!

They can get stuffed as far I'm concerned barring a ridiculous offer.

Evening Timothy.
Go on then. I'll bite. I'm bored. So who have we sold for too little then? Let's not get into the whys and wherefores of if we should or shouldn't have sold, just whether we got a fair price .

As a secondary question what do you think a fair fee for our mercurially inconsistent Irishman would be?

May be controversial, but is O'Shea someone we should be desperate to hold on to?

The lad has trickery, however time and time again he's taken a touch too many or a dribble too many rather than shooting or passing at the optimum moment.

Decent enough player, yet if the price is right I wonder if DW can sign someone more consistent.

Doyle? I wonder if Cardiff or Preston think he's worth what we got for him?

It's all about the price. As always. But to me he was pretty decent when it counted last season and I wouldn't be actively looking to move him on.

You can count Dorset and Hampshire out, Theresa May is coming for us with more reforms so they will be very short on cash for years to come.

Every player has a price. I'd be sad to see him go as I'd have him as a regular starter.
But if a fee is paid, how much will DW get to spend? From a footballing point of view its worth keeping hold of JOS.

And hogwash to Cook

Scored some very important goals for us. Certainly one of the best we have at the moment.

Imagine there being any serious debate about if we should keep O'Shea when our other midfield options are Gardner, Boly, Banks and O'neil

Not controversial in any way, he isn't that good but he does have the knack of doing something special once in a while.

It would justbe a case of Cook trying to recreate his success from elsewhere. That ship has sailed but if he offers over the odds, grab it.

As has said before, we can't stop players improving themselves

I'd assume it would free up wages for someone else, he'll be on decent wonga + £ for DA bank balance

If this was the worst news to come out of CFC central this summer we can breath a sigh of relief

We got just shy of a million quid for a player who was in a purple patch and has hardly scored since. Give over man.

I'd like to think you were right on that for o Shea but reckon 100-200k plus no one would seal it.
