If you look at highlights, McCourt does seem to be one of the culprits. It's not the breaking up play bit though, it's poor one to one marking in the area. It's the same fault that Ollie Banks had (has).
Dozing off, no speed off the mark, not going with runners, being sold a simple dummy......it's all there. This is perhaps why he's never been a regular. Having said that, the opposition was superior second half when Nicky Law bossed it, so hopefully it won't be as serious next time. He might even learn a bit from the manager.

How this squad have mental scars from previous seasons when the vast majority of the players weren't here god only knows. Let's see who he target for the blame when the team is announced Tuesday. He basically said, whoever is dropped isn't up to it, which should help confidence and relationships with the manager. Let's face it, even if we won at Colchester he's now going to have a number of people sniping in the background when he's gone. Untenable position

I rarely listen to interviews. They're usually a collection of the same old clichés and platitudes. But after girding my loins for what I'd inevitably hear I gave this one a go...
..and blimey, if there's such a thing as a managerial suicide note that's it.
So it's all down to the players. Infact worse than that Caldwell accuses them of being mentally weak, of lacking morale fibre to use WW1 terminology.
Well in WW1 soldiers were shot for that kinda thing - but guess who'll be getting the bullet on this occasion Gary!

Crap manager that he is, he interviews far better than his hapless predecessors and he is right to blame the players
Trouble he is the one that retained/signed these men of straw and issues them instructions they are incapable of following

That should guarantee an us and them mentality in the dressing room - can't see this team fighting for the manager.

To save me time, does he offer any kind of apology for appointing him in the first place? For allowing him license to populate his staff and squad? For the six figure sum added to CFC costs?
