Jack not letting a little detail like 'not being able to run' get in the way of a player's development

I'm sure it's more than an hour. Plus the one to ones; the games analyses, the sports psychology and the personal development plans.

I thought that, however it's probably 1 hour of football training, then fitness training, tactics talks etc

A coach once said to me it is not how long you train it is what you do in the time and that bit of advice is something I have tried to adhere to during my coaching career

Why ? Surely there has to be a balance.

Most training could be tactics in the main.
God I hate this league.

Thank you for asking about Brewster, German needs to sort himself out and sharpish. Dylan Kerr said last season that he had the same problem and were most players would go to the gym and do what they had been told to do, if someone didn't literally hold his hand he'd either not go or if he was told to do 20 press ups, he'd try and get away with 10 etc.

Symptomatic of so many youngsters these days. They want the success but not willing to put in the graft.

We've had our share of these types at the club. At least Joe seems a level headed lad with a bright future ahead of him.
