...for the goal? It looked like Dennis was day dreaming on the highlights. He seemed to be the obvious player to pick up Clarke at the corner

Is has to be said he had to use his hand a couple of seasons ago; bur that was a against a PC side

It's not easy to tell, but Clarke might have run from the near post so he's not going to be easy to pick up. Other players have moved out of his space so he has a bit of time and room. That said, it's deplorable that he has time to control, turn, and shoot. Fulton had no help and it was a beautifully timed connection, but he should maybe have saved it.

Unfortunately there was almost a carbon copy in the second half.

We can understand and forgive a lack of quality, but this is basic defending.
