Bradford is the first game I've been to this year. No apologies. Work and family dictate that.
For what it's worth, here's what I think:
*anyone would be mad to pay £3 let alone £3m for Ariyibi
* CM doesn't seem an essential position. 1st half we didn't have one. No wonder we created nothing.
*the defending g for their first goal was laughable. I've coached u8s. They wouldn't leave a prime striker on his own 10 yd out.
* there was a general feeling in the Kop that no one actually WANTED. to be there.
* if we played until next week, we still wouldn't have scored.

I reckon I'll save my money in future...

£3 is too much for him, you could get a pie for that

Or you could get a Pepsi and throw the extra £1 down a drain.

Still better value.

Only part of the day I've found remotely entertaining is thinking about how it's £24 to watch that. You can absolutely ram that Dave Allen

Must admit, if I hadn't got a season ticket, I would find it very difficult to part with £24 each game.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

That starting eleven on paper plus bench tells a story, and not a good one

The two wingers first half added nothing to the side and it was no wonder the two in the middle were overawed. Despite Bradfords total dominance they didn't have a deal on goal and only scored from a set piece by what you correctly described as a under 8's goal, it was that laughable! Bradford work hard, have team spirit and work as a unit... A good team they're not imo, just another decent league one outfit. I'm not looking forward to the Scunny game

Is it genuinely £24 pay on the day in the kop?

That's the point, it's a lot more palatable if you've only paid about 14 quid lol

As a 'part timer' £20 (plus £20 from my mate, 4 pint each and a pie each) was more than enough. I won't be parting with it again anytime soon.
The very least I expect is a desire to win. I didn't see that today

I totally agree. They weren't good at all. It was. Terrible game. 2 poor teams. Our only attempt (as good as it was) was the free kick. Nothing else.

I'm with you. I gave my season ticket up last season, didn't go Tuesday and was only persuaded to give it ago today by the bro-in-law. I've never felt this lack of desire to see my team no matter how s4!t we've been in over 30 years as I do now (never missed a game). It's the lowest I've ever been and I used to bore folks rigid talking Spireites at that! I can take being s4!t TBF (let's be honest here, 99% of the time that's what we were); it's the way the Sheffield lot are running our club that's distanced me; it no longer feels like my club and that leaves me feeling numb (pretty much the feeling I had watching that lot today, lol)

We were poor today, or more to the point we probably played to a level that reflected the ability of those out on the pitch. I don't think people are giving Bradford enough credit either, they were a decent team, obviously will get in the play offs and with a better striker they'd go up. Very strong unit I thought without creating clear chances

Agree, strong and unit and two good words to sum them up, just nothing special and the team we had two years ago would have turned them over today.

They were embarrassingly better than us today. It looked like men against boys. They were pretty much toying with us.
But, to be honest, did we make them so much? Did we make them prove that they are a good team? No. And no.
Yes they will reach the play offs at least. But not playing like that regularly. They're better than that. Thankfully for us, they weren't today or they'd have got 10!

They can play better than that. Presumably you have seen them a few times this season?

It looked like men against boys as for the large part it was. I don't think they toyed with us they lacked a cutting edge, hence why they keep drawing. Get a striker in January they will go up

Or £3 it cost me extra to buy a m8 a ticket this morning. Day light robbery so yes I'll call Turner a crook for bringing in such a rule! It cost him £10 in lost revenue over the counter at half time!

Does drinking turn you into a depressive and devoid you of all sense of reality.
Yes it was men against boys, how many of our starting XI had 30 or more league games under their belts and before people start claiming our squad ain't deep enough, how deep in reality should it be we had a better (?) Starting XI sat in the stands yesterday.
Bradford where a far better side and bossed us playing football in a very unfamiliar none bradfordian way (just shows what a Charlie Hunt off a manager parkin was.) Well done McCall. Their organisation (something we are going to struggle to get with constantly changing the side) and experience was always going to do for us.
We lost 1-0 to a momentory lack of concentration if I was a bradford fan (thank god I'm not ) I'd be asking why we didn't do better against such a depleted side bearing in mind town could have had 3, the free kick and both SH & CW could have done better with headers.
Yes men against boys but don't give me that no desire bollux

I too am a part timer this season, Northampton first match left the game happy with the win. Went yesterday, my second match of the season, the corner where they scored, was predictable, I even said to the wife, this is where we're weak, if I can spot it why can't the management and team. It was a total lack of concentration.

For me, Ariyibi was poor, he had no desire and seemed as though he couldn't be bothered to go after the ball, Sam Hird was dependable as always, Dennis, was unlucky and ran himself into the ground. Wilkinson didn't win one header, his marker Knight-Percival was lucky, in my opinion, not to be booked, he climbed all over Wilkinson, knocked and barged him out of the way all the match.

The Dennis sub was peculiar, to say the least, Liam Graham seems to be edging to be this forums (from some people) new whipping boy now Armand has gone, he's short of first team football and, in my humble opinion, was no worse than some of the other players on the day.

We are, in reality, without at least 6 maybe 7 of our strongest players, yet we come up against a strong Bradford team and they only score 1 goal. Although dissappointed yesterday I'm surprisingly not gutted, I may have rose coloured glassed but don't see us relegated, glass half full, we can only get better.

One amusing note for me was when Ricky German came up against Knight-Percival, and knocked K-P off his feet, that kid is solid, and fast, one for the future.
