I think 10-1 is the best current price for us to win this awful league, and I fancy us to finish third at worst so tried to lump on each way, though the bookie’s site wouldn’t take my bet .
Anyone else backing us?
These go to eleven.

It would also be handy to know who got invited to Loughboro or, more importantly, who didn't.
Time for moondog to go on another top secret surveillance mission.

Thinking on, I wonder if George Foster is there?

I don’t normally bet but even I have had a dabble at 10 to 1 with each way. Hope that’s not given us the kiss of death. COYB.

The so called big signings made by a few of our rivals will bring down their odds to win the league so naturally our odds will go out

Time will tell of course who is right

Wrexham apparently are to unveil a midfielder next week that was a regular starter in the Championship last season. They will either do a Salford or it will go tits up.

Personally I think it’s 2 up from us, Notts, Stockport and Wrexham. Our Achilles heel will be the games we are expected to win at a canter against the Dover and the Wealdstones of this league.

It’s going to be a close one

If only it was so predictable. What were the odds on Sutton winning the league last year? And Barrow the year before? It could be any of the 4 teams mentioned or probably any from about another 8 depending on the rub of the green, how things fall with the virus and any isolation required, injuries and other disruption....

That's why I've gone each way. I think Wrexham might just be too much of a circus to get it together and dominate this year, and Notts have always been a bit of a basket case of a club one way or another.
At least it should be an entertaining race, and at least we get to watch it in person.
These go to eleven.

Can’t see us shortening up any as teams start to sign decent players

agreed

Hopefully a flurry of bets by Wrexham fans following their recent singings might shorten them and push us out a bit.

I agree. I have a sneaky feeling for Bromley. They've been building steadily over the past 5 years, have a strong squad, are damned hard to beat, good manager, and a plastic pitch. There, I've said it.

On another note whos folk calling for relegation. I will go for dover, weadelstone and a toss up between kings lynn and weymouth. But yeah the league has been un-predictable of late. Would be a massive failure if wrexham never went up

I'll be surprised if Weymouth don't push on a little bit next season. I reckon they'll finish ahead of two of maidenhead, boreham wood and Woking.
