Notwithstanding the greviousness of it, if offences proven... in which case they should swing by the short and curlies.

Reading the papers/net this morning, the GMP are involved, it's 31 year old Prem player who is a senior international

But given the detail above, there can't be much of a pool of 31 year old, Senior International players about in the Prem!!

They can't be named for legal reasons, but I'm sure that the name will be out before the end of the week

Question is, shouldn't they just say a Prem player, and leave it at that?

From another source....

Supposedly messaging minors, rather than massaging...

Brilliant- if that’s an original then you deserve pole position in “Pun of the Season” award

His name was leaked 3 days ago. Before the press article or statements.

Not telling anyone what to do but prob consider not bandying the name about.

I don't understand why he can't be named, loads of people get named before unsavoury course cases and then are tarnished even if not guilty. They justify it by saying naming helps other victims come forward, what's different about this case?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I think it because the defence increasingly use it as proof that he can’t receive a fair trial should it come to court.

Guilt is presumed in such cases.
