Looking at the midfield we are goal shy to say the least. Even Banks was adverse at having a pop now and then scoring good goals.
We ain't going to get wins if all the opposition have to do is mark the above mentioned out of the game.

If you'd had taken note during the warm up Dave you would have witnessed that very rarely did any of the players hit the net during shooting practice. Some even missed the safety net behind the goal protecting spectators in the stand. So confidence during the game perhaps was a bit low.

According to the first stars site I went to, only Scunny have had more shots than us, at 14 per match v ours at 13.5. Don't care who shoots, but if it's only two players who do, prefer It to be either Evans or OShea.

It may be a good idea to place some of the Town fans on the goal line, because the players seem pretty good at targetting us in the warm ups.

Oshea? His reputation preceeds his shots. When he tees a strike up the ball boys run outside of the ground hoping to catch it WHEN it lands. Sometimes they even have time to walk round.

No. His penalty was well despatched.
Are you basing your point on his penalty?

No, probably a dozen penalties, all dispatched with no fuss, no misses. Plus some of the best goals scored at the Proact.
You seem to be judging by his fails, I am judging him by his successes.

Gi'oer lad. Evans apart he's comfortably the cleverest striker of a ball we have. Have you forgotten some of the sensational goals he's scored from outside the box? There must be half a dozen in his time with us, at least.
