Hello Andy.

Not seen him jump but the moaners on betfair forum were impressed so must have been tidy.

Spent last weekend at Cheltenham - some nice young early season types but the most impressive physique? Hayley Turner's ass...

Will Douvan be Gold Cup this year or Champion Chase ?

If Gold Cup and they both remain unbeaten and line up in March could be a race to match Kauto Star/Denman 2008

Faugheen - World or Champion Hurdle?

Looks like they are aiming him at the former but that in my opinion is only because Annie Power doesn't stay the trip.

Got some pics of Sprinter when it was paraded yesterday after it's retirement was announced. Great reception and looked amazing.

Also got a couple of SS and Simonsig before tragedy struck.

Tough one yesterday.

I already had an account so missed it, I think if you back it every race for the next 2 years you will be quids in.

You can still get 10/11 on Thistlecrack to win the gold cup, and PP offer the money back if he doesn't race in it. Could be a license to print money.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

Thistlecrack beaten in a storming race by Many Clouds, who then shockingly collapsed and died at the finish. Sad sad news.

Reaction on the course was shock. Watching grown men and women in tears and they quickly announced thst Clouds had died and there was people clapping out of respect.

I am not sure that thistlecrack stayed on the ground so he needs good ground for the GC

I for one will be laying him if there is a spot of rain.

Also I hope the pipes run champers on ice in the NH chase as he needs 4 miles

Thistlecrack ran a stinker, jumping was terrible and never looked to be going well, ground was definitely against it too, not taking anything away from many clouds though, ran a great race, such a shame it ended as it did.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Aithough it`s terrible when any horse dies on the racecourse, a certain few resonate more with punters than others. Usually, because whether you`ve backed it or not, you recognise that a particular horse will try its heart out every race and in the case of Many clouds carrying big weights often. It was a spectacle that punters and of course the general public do not like to see. Life is sometimes unfair. but that`s sport and their is always a portion of risk involved which of course is what makes it exciting.I personally never backed the horse but recognise what a great horse he was. A very sad day but life goes on.

I remember many years ago standing at the last fence at Market Raisen when a horse called Brave Hussar (always remembered its name for some reason) fell and had to be destroyed. It was horrible. The canvas screen, the dull "thud" and then the sound of the winch pulling the body into the truck. I've never forgot it.
Then similar at Uttoxeter a couple of years ago, screen up etc, then all of a sudden the horse suddenly appeared from behind the screen galloping around. The cheer that went up was heart warming.
