is Steve Evans an unattractive character? Yes. Is he a good manager? Undoubtedly.
Let's go get him, & let Danny enjoy a well earned retirement with our thanks for keeping us up last season.

Steve Evans is only successful when he has money to spend and CFC has no money, even tho it raised £2.3m in transfer fees last year and still can't reduce the deb. I reckon we could be the next Darlington.

Sadly you might be correct, I think we may end up like Darlo.

Fans need to organise like at Blackpool. The only way to get this lot out is to stay away and starve the club of cash. Horrible I know in the short term, but hopefully in the best interests long term.

I would be in favour of action like that. I actually am worried about the future of our club, a club our size can't be in over £9 million of debt and survive.

Evans is a good manager when he has the largest budget in the division. Boston, Crawley Millers all went up with a budget way above their income

We could bring Pep or Jose in and it'd make no difference. You can't can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I can't see the Club investing in the playing staff. Scunthorpe were good because they've invested. We were good under Paul Cook because we invested. Simple

Now complete the rest of your sentence and "dare" tell us all who you are going to replace him with.

Come up with a good answer of a keen and willing replacement and I might support you!!!!

If Dave Allen does not want to invest any more money, which we all know he wont just put the club up for sale simple as that. At least then we know where we stand and can move forward.
As it stands at the moment there's only one way we are going and that's down.

We could have any manager in the world but he'd still have to play a 17 year old kid and midfielders as full backs. Because of the cutbacks the club have instructed on the manager we've replaced China with Plastic Cups.

Good Luck Danny because your bosses are letting you and the fans down.

I am sure the club is up for sale. But I am sure there is a big stretch with what DA would want (probably the full value of his shares and all his loans repaid likely as not) and what anyone is willing to pay.

But isn't the Oyston family still in situ at Blackpool?

Danny Wilson is a man of honest, decent professionalism.

Steve Evans is probably better suited to those currently running CFC.

Goku does, he regards overweight people in the same way as daesh regards non-muslims.

To be fair- anyone purposing as leading a professional sports team ought not be dangerously obese - surely it's a dignity thing and personal hygiene and pride as much as anything?

for me, nothing to do with his weight but I would not welcome steve evans as our manager, personally i'd like Wilson to stay and the board to back him or clear off and let someone who is prepared to back him come in. I may well be wrong but Wilson is not the problem, dave allen is.
