Adding Prem B Teams or non english league teams ruled out....any expansion to come from National League :-

Seems very much like they are determined to persuade clubs with the lure of extra premier leage money to ignore what the fans want and push through the new league structure

Isn't the national league already a L3 division in effect with promotion to L2?

Why would the premiership give us more money for the league restructuring. I don't see any advantage to them adding an extra division partially made up of national league teams.

Obviously it might make the intoduction of 'B' teams easier at a later date, but not much

Its not the extra division but a reduction of games, they can then shift the FA cup to midweek freeing up extra weekends to sell TV rights to. Also potential of more champions league cash as UEFA don't want domestic football taking place on the same night.

By reducing the 2nd division (currently championship) it's four less places for the smaller clubs to achieve that status.

I get the impression they think get rid of the B team idea will pave the way for this instead,

They could railroad through the midweek FA cup ties without our agreement. At the end of the day if a smaller team makes the later stages the league game just get postponed whether it is Saturday or midweek.

Not sure domestic league games being the same night as champions league is a real issue but as you say UEFA don't like it and are putting pressure on the national leagues. WillI I be strapped to the sofa and force fed Chumpians League offal in the future?

Still don't see where this Premiership cash is coming from

CT just been interviewed live on SSN about the latest alteration of the proposals..it would seem the reduction of games is going to,be a major sticking point.
Also hopes we finish top ten and maybe push for the play offs.
Also said we'd just come off a four game losing run!
East stand second class citizen.

Was he suffering from "long working lunch" syndrome?

I'm sure it will be

A championship club could be for £1M+, some much more,, we could be asking for £200K/300K
