Hi mate.

When I started outdoing this, I tweeted Jack Fitzwater to ask if he could follow me while I sent him a pm. I explained what I was doing and he sent me the very recent (at the time) photo from the West Brom shoot. He wished me luck. So, he is done.

Of the others mentioned so far only John Matthews and Steve Prindiville have been done yet.

I know it appears I'm saying 'not done' a lot, but with so many to go through...that's why these suggestions help. It lets me put an order together.

Thank you for you message. Appreciated.

You're most welcome, I saw Chris timons at work the other day and he showed me his picture, I wouldn't say he was exactly pleased but he was full of praise for what you are doing, apparently his colleagues suggest he use it as his passport photo!
It's a massive task to take on, how many done so far?

I wonder if you could knock up and sell team sheets? So folk could buy their favourite 11 etc?

I interrupted Mick Henderson's lawn mowing to show him his. 'Horrendous' he said. Full of admiration for Richard's undertaking though.

Ha! Thanks.

The players have been brilliant. That's the sort of thing I want. If they were great drawings I don't think they'd appeal, especially now it's easy to use a computer image to turn a photo into a drawing. Also, it amuses me when my finished drawing looks bad but you can still see who it's supposed to be (My Jay O'Shea and Danny Whitaker are good examples. I had so much fun during Danny!).

As for 'team sheets', yes, I'm thinking of doing that. The only thing is players who have played more than one season may be wearing different shirts. Either that or just do the faces. Otherwise it would mean drawing players several times.

Is Mick Henderson local?
Wow he is one of my favourite players ever, he could play football but what sticks in my mind is that he was a proper hard man / enforcer type. Always had the impression that if somebody clobbered one of our players hendo would get them back with interest.

Personally i don't think the different shirts would be a problem mate, for me that little reference to the different time frames just adds to it.

Memory loss here, how abut the kid who scored on debut at Hereford, broke his leg in doing so and never played again.
He also put 5 past us one Sunday morning when town had a junior team playing in Chesterfield Sunday League called "Wanderers" and playing at Pitt Street. They had the distinct advantage of not having to cope with Saturday night

If he made a first team debut he'll be there...eventually!

This is what makes coming here different to Facebook and Twitter. These names thrown in the air is great. Sorry I can't get around to replying to everyone. I'm losing a bit of track but they are all really helpful. It gives me some kind of order.

Also, it makes good reading, about players I've either never heard of or had completely forgotten about! The strangest for me is the loan players we've had over the past 6-7 years. Bizarre how I've either totally forgotten or had to really stretch my memory. There's loads of them! Going back further is harder to get photos, but easier to get a full team.

Yes. Done and posted, mate.

Do you have Twitter or Facebook? He's on there.

I need something for people who haven't got either of the above. Someone suggested a website but I haven't a clue what I'm doing!

No I don't do Twitter or Facebook, too old and miserable for that. Have tried Facebook in the past but not my cup of tea really.
I dont know how you go about setting a Website up, but I am sure there will be one or two Bobs Board Members who could do that for you, or provide you with some guidance.
You also need a Just Giving thingy as well. With those two things in place you should maximise your potential for contributions.

Google free website builders. There's a few that give you a template and you just fill it in. Wix, weebly etc
