Some of you may have already seen it, but I am raising money for #TeamErnie @DementiaUK by attempting to (badly) draw as many -hopefully all 1004+- Chesterfield players. So far I have drawn (badly) over 300 players and am posting them on Twitter @badlydrawnspire and Facebook.

Various players have been having a laugh with them and are being great sports, including Ian Evatt, Charlie Raglan, Gboly Ariyibi, Tommy Lee, Paul Lemon, Chris Marples, Angel Martinez, Tom Curtis, Peter Leven, Liam Cooper to name but a few. Ernie's daughter has given this the thumbs up and has been brilliant, as has the club.

You can read a bit more about it here, on my blog:

BadlyDrawnSpires – Can you guess?
https://badlydrawnsp....wordpress.com/

You can donate to JustGiving on Twitter and Facebook, but really I am hoping to sell prints, T-Shirts, mugs, etc when they are all finished.

It's for a great cause whilst having a bit of fun. If you do nothing else, please check it out.

Thank you.

I've seen them on Twitter and they're decent.

A print of the a few legends on one would be decent to be framed.

Mate, they are actually pretty damn good haha! The Tony Lormor made me particularly happy. Good work. And for a quality cause. Consider me in.

Thank you.

Yeah. I had the idea a few years ago. My aim is to eventually do a "Where's Wally?" type poster (originally called 'Where's Waller?') and maybe put a print a different player in each programme so kids can take it home and find that player. That way they have only got to buy one thing. However, some people, and a few players, are wanting prints so that's all being considered.

The thing is, I want to do it for Ernie, his family and the fans. I've set up the JustGiving at just £100 just so people know I'm genuine and am not personally handling any money.

I can't tell you how nervous I am about the reception it will get. I'm expecting people to tear me a new one over how bad they are if they don't get that that's the way they are supposed to be. They aren't meant to be brilliant and I think that's the appeal.

Thank you.

I've actually laughed myself at some of them, which is kinda embarrassing!

One thing I forgot to mention is why I haven't put a time limit on them. I'm hoping for the end of the season but some photos may not exist. In some cases I can't get hold of a player in a Town shirt so I take the nearest picture I can to when they played for us and put them in that seasons shirt.

Peter Whiteley, Stuart Basson and Tina Jenner have been amazing at providing photos.

Thank you.

Yeah, prints are definitely being considered. I'd like to try and gather interest then see how it goes. Ideally I want to make them as cheap as possible. Supporting your club isn't cheap at best of times, so I'm thinking what I would want. That's why I liked the idea. Rather than just being a sponsored thing, the fans are getting something, too. If you notice, the pictures have a watermark. The prints won't have that.

Ha ha. Thank you very much.

Just reached £100 today.

I've asked a question on Twitter and Facebook but I think a lot on here might enjoy this one. I want to do some really obscure players (I have to do them all, anyway). I've got some done such as Sal Bibbo, Jean Jaques Misse Misse, Wade Falana, so if anyone can come up with any...? It gives me a direction to go in rather than just posting all the most popular players.

Made me laugh looking through them all and a brilliant cause to boot.
Good luck with them all, haha

EDIT: I'll make you a donation when you do the player I used to get nicknamed after many moons ago (and I'm not saying who it is either :sunglasses )
