I have been able to get a couple of the extra tickets that went on sale today for Burton Albion. We are going down by car, has anybody where to park. Any details that anybody has would be greatly appreciated.

If you cannot get in Burton's ground then last season we parked in the retail units just opposite the ground. We got straight out and if memory serves it was about 3 quid. :)

There should be loads of space, it's on a long straight road, there's a pub and a Mc Donalds on your right just before the ground

I've been heavily 'refreshed' on two occasions - however for the FA Cup game I wasn't feeling too well and drove. Drop off the A38 at the first opportunity (as soon as you leave Derbyshire soil) and that road, A5121 takes to straight to the ground. I waited until I was within sight on the ground, did a 180 and parked facing back the same way on the main road. Jobs a good 'un, parking cost zero.

 With a Sunday kick off there should be plenty of free parking in the vicinity of the ground. <_<

Now just looking for somewhere nice for lunch... (taking the wife so not sure a pint and a pie in the ground will suffice)

Surely that depends on how good the pies are?

I parked at the ground for the Burton vs Pompey match. It did not take long to get out - much better than the times I have parked at the ground at Scunthorpe.

If you come off at Burton South exit from the A38 and head towards Burton, but then turn off and go past Morrisons there's a new(ish) pub that's opened down there. Don't think it's spectacular but it is meant to be reasonable.

Either that or there's the two for one place called 'The Albion' as long as you don't mind eating in a pub of said name :P
