There's a good piece in The Times today written by Gregor Robertson about his recollections of Jamie Ward playing for Chesterfield against Ashley Williams, when he was with Stockport.

I knew Aaron Downes was looking at a career in journalism, but I didn't know that Gregor had literary leanings, as well. Good on him!

Looks to me as though his tournament is over. Took a proper smack on the shoulder, played on holding it though. I think he's broke his collar bone or something like that.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

From the few people I know that have broken their collar bone he's one tough nut if he has. I'd be surprised if he has tbh because he was challenging reasonably okay afterwards and I don't think he'd be able to stand the pain if he had. I maybe wrong though as fortunately I've never broke mine, just going on what others have described

Yep looked like he maybe has fractured his arm perhaps.
The adrenalin definitely kicked in and he didn't want to come off did he?

See Jamie Ward still having his hamstring trouble though

A broken collar bone is incredibly painful and for a short time debilitating. Broke my left one and dislocated my right.
