Sapphire and steel! Blimey that’s a blast!

Remember the one where the guy had no face, and only those 2 could see him?

And the ending, didn’t the two of them end up trapped in some sort of crystal to roam time and space for ever?
A new hope.

I was a massive man from uncle fan, I was fortunate enough to have some man from uncle hankies (yes hankies, I’m not an animal!)
Loved starsky and hutch as well.

The one "adult" programme that still mesmerises me if I catch it on tv is The Word at War. Contender for greatest factual series ever I think?

Agreed.

Lawrence Olivier's almost eerie narrative is pitched perfectly to inform yet capture the true horror of events. Infact his silences have equal impact, allowing the bleak, grainy, black and white pictures even greater gravitas. We also hear from people actually present, folk offering first hand testimony - literally, on some occasions - rather than the musings of so called academics.

Truly haunting...

The Dukes of Hazzard was my favourite as a kid.
Apparently, I insisted on exiting the family car via the window Bo and Luke Duke-style.
The Fall Guy and The A Team were other personal favourites.

Baywatch just takes me back to Saturday tea time and I also recall Sunday dinner time viewing of Land of the Giants.

That has been repeated continuosly on Yesterday recently

It was compulsive Sunday evening viewing first time around when there were only 3 channels to view

On the lighter side the western series Alias Smith and Jones on BBC2 Monday evenings was great to watch

They are also on view on certain tv outlets now :windup

In keeping with this thread: https://www.bbc.co.u...-wales-46931129

'It Ain't Half Hot, Mum'. Honest old fashioned comedy deemed unacceptable by modern standards. Yeah, I get why, and perhaps rightfully so. But it still holds a place in the hearts of fifty-something non racist, non homophobic, non stereotyping folk.
