Bit harsh on Allison , who came out of non-league at a time when Leonard's form had collapsed (years later I heard rumours why).
I'd have picked on Abbey- he improved after a poor start and had some belting matches (Udders away springs to mind) but was dodgy at times and ultimately too greedy, if reports were correct.

Abbey, there's another one...good ol' Paul Hart eh?

Or just relied on bad advice from his agent?

Was nice to see him at the game the other week anyway.

I think the 'paul hart' comment was in relation to Leonard losing his form (IIRC)

It would seem that the National League paper's representative, the interviewer and Ashmore are vilifying Chesterfield FC by citing what happened to Ashmore at the Proact as a classic case of racial abuse, when this is simply not the case. The only instance of any racial abuse during the game came from an Ebbsfleet fan, and the club should be making this abundantly clear via a response to the National League Paper, the media interviewer, and the FA.

Maybe I wasn’t concentrating enough but the way I heard it, they mentioned events at Chesterfield and Graham Bean in the introduction (which was misleading and out of context) then never actually specifically mentioned us after that?
The essence of what they are saying is correct however the way Ashmore has become the ultimate innocent victim is nauseating, also surely they must be slightly suspicious that it always seems to happen to him? There are plenty of black players in the national league but seemingly only one gets the abuse?

Yes, perfectly true - but I think the point is that the programme was specifically about `racial abuse' - so `what happened at Chesterfield' is surely relevant to the title? I think they were aware that they couldn't go into specifics because the case is still pending with the FA. It tars us with the `racial abuse' taunt, which simply isn't true.

He gets the fans heckles up straight away with the ball wasting antics. It might be game management in his eyes so he can't be surprised by what he generates by his actions.
God I hate this league.
