Just a bit of a laugh. Went to a comedy club function aptly held at Field Mill. Anyway all the comedians are trying to get the crowd going talking about the rivalry with us. One of the comedians then asks"are there any Chesterfield fans here tonight", i put my hand up and they start heckling me calling me sheep sh*gger. I put my hand up again and said to the comedian "listen mate, sheep sh*gging is a myth, scabbing is a fact" Mansfield bird who is giving large ends up spewing up all over the floor at the end, i then told them it was like being on the Jerramy Kyle show, classic Mansfield.

I cant believe you put your hand up.

Yes, we all share our home games with a fair amount of 'scabs' don't we?

I'd like to think the true meaning of 'scab' is lost or becoming lost. It's a long time for anyone who still feels aggrieved to be carrying it around.

The local rivalry is healthy for both of us, lets keep it football.

Given the current respective fortunes of our teams and league position for the last 20 years I would suggest the pain is all yours.....scab!

Your team is gash.

You play in a three sided stadium with pathetic attendances, the sort we'd we be disappointed to attract for a JPT 1st round game.

You should know pain.

You little fibber, he didn't ask if there was any Chesterfield supporters in, just anybody from Chesterfield. So you didn't really say you was a fan.

In your case I'd suggest it was Michael Brown and simply because you wanted it

Haha good one Ernie.

Another indication of how close we all are.

Ernie Moss. Spireite hero. Played his best couple of years with the naughty boy over the road.

And your a Mansfield supporter on Spireite Debate.
Jeez. Why do you get such a hard time? It's so unfair. Maybe Jeremy Kyle could answer your question (here's a clue he's on speed dial 1).
Life goes on. Whatever happens.
