Well, we couldn't afford it, why not accept that and move on. Pompey have written off their debts and get gates more than double ours; of course their budget will be higher than ours. Chelsea and Man City's budget are also higher than ours and equally as relevant!

Why? Are we losing lots of money?

Stupid response. The answer, obviously, is that we have a budget and cannot spend money we haven't got, clubs with twice the income can pay twice as much to their players. Rocket science is complicated isn't it.

But why haven't we got more money to spend? Is our turnover too low? Please reply cos I need to know.

As you well know turnover is irrelevant , profitability is key. We have multi millions of debt to service, an expensive ground to run with all the staff costs involved in that. Our playing budget of two and a half million on gates of 7k is about right, any higher and we will be running at a loss with the debt increasing. Clubs like Pompey with gates more than twice the size of ours and no debt can and will pay a lot more than we can afford to.

You know all this so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make

Our playing budget is around 1.8million, we could only dream of having one of 2.5mil in league 1

whyare we allegedly, losing so much money , paying all this interest off , is not getting debt down , so longer it drags on it wont matter to our leader , all the success , promotions , wembleys , promotion , doyle , cooper , cooks pay off , nothings coming down all alot better than bank interest

Debts not coming down though B, player sales are keeping the club afloat

You'd have to agree that if we are living within our means on 7000 that the £1m Doyle £750 Cooper £250 Cook
= £2m plus £750 Clucas £750 Darikwa £750 Morsy = 2.25m

Total £4.25m

That should show half the debt gone shouldn't it?

Could be a case of here's what you could have won. Cook's signings will imo be largely those who would be playing for us next season with the desired backing: Bennett, Ryan, Roberts, Stevens for starters

Who? never heard of em.

Interestingly, PC said at the FF at the Bridge, that he was a player he'd watched for a while but he recent success had prices Chesterfield out of the market for him. Obviously, not PC though!

I wonder what sort of sell on % he's negotoated down there.

I do not believe a word Cook says now knowing he wanted away from last October he lied to us at the Bridge Inn over loyalty, ok fair enough the club wasn't supporting him his wages were inferior allegedly and Portsmouth offered him more allegedly but lets face facts Portsmouth are not guaranteed promotion next season....

He must mean they were more lucrative if you added them all together!
