It's a no brainer for me, Shinner has worked wonders with the team over the past 3 years. We are the fittest Team in the lower leagues, and on a great many occasions our fitness has gone a long way to winning matches we just grind the opposition down. Shinner has shown non stop commitment to the Team and Club as a whole, working all sorts of hours including Sundays. For me he MUST STAY.

No doubt we looked fit last year but now it is Saunders we need to support him. If he wants to bring in his own back room staff then we have to support him and then see if he's got it right or wrong.
If I was going into a new job I'd like to take my own team with me, people you know and trust where you can hit the ground running without having to build up a relationship etc

That would be the case for certain positions but not the fitness coach, surely.

If we are to support Saunders it should be for any position he sees fit. He then has total responsibity for when it goes right or wrong.

In my opinion fitness isn't a problem, Shinner has worked wonders. The perfect example of how someone can turn their lives around.

I'm waiting for Fishini to come along, he can't stand Nicholson and would love to see him sacked..

Really? I LOVE Shane Nicholson. And if we need someone to step up and take a penalty - and to be sure of scoring - then SN's your man. I still have the birthday card that my sis got hi to sign for me for my 30th which is quite a while ago now ....

I agree, but it some cases, it's jobs for the boys at the expense of decent, capable employees.

If a manager wants to appoint his assistant, that's fine, but chopping & changing the entire backroom staff just to accommodate a change in manager, any manager, not just Saunders is ludicrous, expensive & outdated.

If Shinner's given good service & the Club are happy with his performance, why would you move him on?

Supporters bellyache about loyalty, it works both ways in my book.

I'm right though aren't I? You didn't want him in the club as I remember, even to the point of wanting his kids removed from him.

Are you telling me you have had a change of heart?

DS says we will be the fittest team in the league or words to that effect in the RS interview yesterday. Sounds like he already has someone from the past in mind to achieve this.
Here we go again!

A woman of taste. shinner rules, best left back I've seen at the club, and obviously a good fitness coach.

Times change and people change, Nico's did bad things ( I hate drugs) and now he's changed as have my opinion of him. Seems yours of me hasn't. So be it.

With respect, that's nonsense - the bloke's been doing a brilliant job, so let him carry on doing it.

Agree - and would add best penalty taker I've seen at the club - usually kissing the turf and inches inside the post.

I didn't say he hadn't done a brilliant job but if Saunders don't want him then that's that. You shouldn't make a man responsible and not allow him his own team if he wants it.
