Given how the end of the season panned out I don't think he now needs explain himself. The man works closely with the club, he knew PC well, he probably didn't want to say too much about what he knew, but it's clear now that he knew PC was going to Portsmouth and that we needed to enjoy those last few weeks as it was the best season many of us had witnessed before. Now it's upto Saunders to try and replicate it if not improve on it, but it's gonna be hard as our recent success has put our players in the spotlight so bigger clubs are aware how good they are.
