Crossley won't come back.

It will be someone like, Lee Butler.

Crazy. Would be far better to say 'this how we play (note the style goes down to the youngest team under our umbrella)', have a team of coaches and specialists that buy into the style, and then when a manager moves on, he has to leave the coaching staff behind, and we just recruit another manager happy to go with our model.

Result: no expensive recruiting, paying off of contracts and an almost seamless change.

Spot on.

So being fit for one manager would not be enough for another?

From what I've been told, Shinner is in Monday morning for a meeting with Saunders to discuss the situation.

Exactly, this has been said before.

Even if staff change there is a continuity within the club and the clubs ethos stays the same. That's exactly how Barcelona do it. From the youngest kids to the first team, they all play the same way so when the kids who are good enough make it they too can fit in effortlessly into the side.

We are going to go from a subtle patient passing game, to one where we hit the channels early, and get crosses into the box early for a couple of forwards. Typical English football so to speak.

A new hope.

You only have to look at shinner to realise he takes his job seriously he is in tip top condition i had been critical in the past but it was evidently down to him having his hands tied, shinner is connected with robbie sivyer at the boxing club its a position that should not be changed.

Agree, it will unsettle everybody, we can hardly be much fitter, hopefully it's just a chat to see if he's happy to stay, it's Lynch & Nixon that look like leaving

Nixon obviously never went to any of Shinners fitness sessions. No way is he fit enough to be a coach.

I'm sure he'll be okay, thought he might have been a former team mate of Saunders at Derby or Sheff Yoo but they just missed each other

Surely the happy clapper will follow his buddy to the south coast?
What did he (Lynch) actually do other than clap a lot on match days!!?
Chief cheerleader?!

To be fair to Lynch his work will have been done in the week out of sight on the training ground but it's hard to imagine Saunders would prefer him over his own man

Just checked and Saunders took assistant Brian Carey and fitness coach Mal Purchase from Donny to Wolves, Carey is U21 coach at Blackburn whilst Purchase is out working in India

It's a no brainer for me, Shinner has worked wonders with the team over the past 3 years. We are the fittest Team in the lower leagues, and on a great many occasions our fitness has gone a long way to winning matches we just grind the opposition down. Shinner has shown non stop commitment to the Team and Club as a whole, working all sorts of hours including Sundays. For me he MUST STAY.
