I have learn't today of the sad loss of a fellow Spireite who has lost his fight against Motor Nuerone he used to sit in the East corner of the South stand in his wheelchair. He was also known as Joby he was in his early fifties. Just makes you realise how fragile Life is. RIP Joby mate I will give them a cheer for you Saturday.

Horrible way to go we seem no further on in finding a cure since my Gran went the same way thirty five years ago

Bob as well and the former Hartlepool media man Paul Mullen

Lets hope the http://www.thebroadappeal.org/ and Sheff Uni's Sitran Centre find a cure sooner rather than later

RIP John

SITRAN is an amazing place. World class research going on there. They also accept donations. Dame professor Shaw who works there and the Hallamshiire is one of the leading experts in this condition. But there is still only one therapy which can be tried to slow the progress a little, and no cure. Ice bucket challenge is still going if anyone is brave enough.
RIP

I think he was a small-ish guy, grey (white) hair, sort of spiked/swept back, regular at away games.
