I think that may have just scuppered his chance! Cookie and his team don't like this sort of thing!

One of the strangest signings we've ever made. Good luck to the lad though I hope he gets his chance

He looked really peed off at Walsall sat in the corner of the stand well away from his team mates barely looking up from his phone all game. Shame we never even got a reserve or Derbyshire cup game to form an opinion on him

Isnt and never was the answer. A signing that was strange and proved to be so. If he was about 18 then he could have had a chance.

The only time I ever saw him. aside from the odd warm-up, was sitting in one of the lounges before the County game alone at a table, on his phone. Having said that, I would have seen him playing and scoring for Dr***den if the other end of the pitch had been visible through the fog at the time.
These go to eleven.

I'm told at least some staff at Town are bewildered by this, a striker who has pace and goalscoring ability released without ever getting a chance.

And why now? Why at a time when Gnanduillet's loan saw him as just about our only other option?

I can only conclude that Cook has something lined up - doesn't that Fagan's contract in Ireland expire around now?

Hmmm...

Fagan wouldn't be able to play for two months surely even if he was signed

Can't see any new signing being related to Lamb leaving, he must've been on absolute peanuts

I think he was just a "body". With the depth of our squad and our not having "conventional" strikers he was useful for training and practice matches. The fact that he was prolific in behind closed doors games meant he was offered non-contract terms. This seemed more to keep him in the training sessions than anything else as it happened when we had the spate of injuries and were chucking youth players on the bench.
