Lamb now on as a sub against Bristol Rovers with about 20 mins to go

Came on early in second half, so got about 40 mins.

Finished 0-0

Went tonight, didn't do too badly albeit feeding off scraps. Certainly looked quite good in the air to say he isn't that big.

Dreadful game lacking any real quality. Must have been depressing for the 300+ Bristol Rovers fans that travelled stood under a tin shack in the rain..

Eric Nixon there.

Lamb did very well in the air and used the ball well,he doesn't get knocked off the ball easily. He had one powerful header just over the bar but the support and service to him was poor.Good point for the reds but Rovers looked a poor side.

Wouldn't have backed 0-0.

this explains how he was able to circumvent the xfer window

http://www.alfretont...N-LOAN-2572.htm

so he's still our player after all

(interesting if he scores shed loads over the next six weeks :D )

Not sure, he needs a good few games, I was really impressed with his heading and he was looking for space all the time. It's a pity he's in a struggling Reds side because the service in the box was poor at times. He went close with a header just over the bar and had one cracking effort at goal blocked.I think playing in our strongest side alongside Doyle he would score goals as well as being the perfect foil for our goal machine. If we had a reserve side who knows what might have happened with his career, but the lack of games probably cost him a contract to the end of season.
