Classy comment to make . All the best to him.

I for one is peed off,I wish PC would begin to realise that we are no good if we have to rely on just the one striker. If Doyle gets injured we are in queer street, besides that he Doyle, has struggled since the Bristol match on his own,Clubs are marking him out of the game.PC could have had Lamb on the bench as we've only had midfielders to bring on when we have been struggling for goals. It's frustrating watching Town at the moment where is he next goal coming from,God only knows.

I am not sure where this 'clubs are marking him out of the game' is coming from. Swindon played with a back three, with no evidence any one was deputed to stick to Doyle. The lack of goals for him comes from lack of chances created by his team mates. As for an alternative, we have Sam Clucas who has won as many headers in the opposition box as any of our players this season'; two goals in the last four games is as good as you could get, If Eoin has struggled for 80 minutes, then take him off then, push Sam forward and bring on Bolly. Has someone else has said, he got more crosses over in his ten minute cameo than we saw all match.

Since when is Doyle expected to score headed goals on a regular basis? There might be a clue there.

Who says he was, but he should try and win the headers instead of backing onto the cb in the hope that the ballsails over the top. Bocco and even Johnno win more balls in the air and lookat their size.

Then Cook should play someone who can win headers and in no way shape or form is that Doyle.

It's a tricky situation isn't it? Should you focus your entire attacking approach around trying to create the 'perfect chance' for one man, or look for a different man who can score different types of goal and is better at bringing his team mates into play.
The time was always coming when doyles goals would dry up a bit, I can't work out how we handle it though!

I'm told at least some staff at Town are bewildered by this, a striker who has pace and goalscoring ability released without ever getting a chance.

And why now? Why at a time when Gnanduillet's loan saw him as just about our only other option?

I can only conclude that Cook has something lined up - doesn't that Fagan's contract in Ireland expire around now?

Hmmm...

and even more Hmmmmmm.....

Mcky Adams Press Conference today, when asked whether any attempt will be made to keep Armand permanently (paraphrased)..

'His club is not scoring. I think the chances of them allowing us to keep him on loan are nil. They have also got plans (to strengthen that position)'.

Cook talked about letting him go look a bad decision at this stage, or words to that effect.

Looking at his twitter he seems to have only just realized he cannot play for anyone else until January.

Doesnt seem best pleased!

Its a ridiculous rule. Did i not see that someone had taken the FA/UEFA/FIFA to court for something similar within the last few years?

I agree about if being a ridiculous rule but I also assumed (incorrectly it seems) that as he was on non-contract terms that he wouldn't have been affected by this.

We've been saying on here for a while that Boco couldnt play for anyone else on other threads so no reason the same shouldnt apply to Lamb unless he drops to a certain level where the windows dont apply.

It is barmy along with the 3 clubs in a season rubbish.

I'm hearing Lamb will be trialling at Alfreton in the near future.

Good luck to the lad.

Update from today's Tranmere Press Conference, paraphrased again.........

1. 'Armand is not allowed to play for Tranmere in the FA cup.'

2. 'PC is looking to recruit in Armand's position. That will affect whether Armand's loan may be extended'.
