Technically Richardson wasn't sacked. He just didn't have his contract renewed.

Can you remember as far back as the last bloke, Sheridan?

Sheridan was not sacked he was put on gardening leave just like I was,and then he resigned just like I did..when I asked if any manager had been sacked i meant to be the likes of lee clark, jose riga, mark robbins and not by mutual or a resignation.

Sheridan resigned, after agreement a nice pay off, £100k up front then £100k in the summer (due about 3 weeks after became here, ended our play off hopes, kept Plymouth up and gave the proverbial "up yours" to our exec box!!).

Nearly right. The agreement came some time after he was put on gardening leave. He accepted £30k up front and 12 monthly payments of £10k. At the time, the £150k was highly significant in that it represented the savings CT made on wages over the reminder of Sheridan's contract by recruiting PC instead. A great piece of negotiating costing the club, on balance, nowt.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
