Have family in Colchester. A part time side well managed by Alan Devonshire (formerly of WHU). Watched 2 games. Play good football. Small pitch. It wont be easy. I dont bet against my own side on principal but Braintree are well worth a £1 or three

Well at least I'm up to speed on the local watering holes as we stopped there en route to Colchester. A couple of very good pubs I must visit again

When we stopped there on route to Colchester I jokingly said lets try and find their ground in casewe got them in the cup. It's not a bad run and fans should get there in under 3 hours if the roads are okay.

A new ground for me, so definitely looking to go to this as it's a rare occurrence nowadays.

21 sheets return from Liverpool Street or Stratford.

They seem to have a Freeport, might leave the missus spending there whilst I sneak off to the match.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I hate shopping but the Freeport is very nice and plenty of shops and free park and ride last week.

They've announced prices. £18 for seated adults and £17 for standing. For a couple of quid more you can watch us several divisions higher.

Hi Stents, the prices are £20 for adults and £10 for under 16's accompanied by an adult. The coach, or coaches depending upon demand, will be leaving the Bridge Inn at 8.00 and there will be a stop off for lunch on the way.

Cheers.
