May as well have a thread to have it all in for over the summer. We can start with Englands provisional 26 man squad that needs to lose 3 by the UEFA deadline of 31st May :-

GKs - Hart, Forster, Heaton
Defenders - Bertrand, Cahill, Rose, Clyne, Smalling, Stones, Walker
Midfielders - Alli, Barkley, Delph, Dier, Drinkwater, Henderson, Lallana, Milner, Sterling, Townsend, Wilshere
Forwards - Kane, Rashford, Rooney, Sturridge, Vardy

I suspect from that the three will be two of the midfielders and one of the forwards.

Not sure how Wilshere can hope to go without even making a start for Arsenal this season.

Suspect he will be lost along with Delph or Barkley.

Rashford will be lost from the strikers.

As it stands barring any stand out performances in the warm up games its more than likely going to be two of Delph\Drinkwater and Townsend from the midfielders and then Rashford from the forwards. Lack of action for Wilshere this season potentially a bonus going into the tournament...will be fresh.

I'd drop Delph, Wilshere and Rooney who does so little for me. However, Rashford will be dropped unless one of them is injured. Which wouldn't be so unlikely with Sturridge

How has Wilshere made it in? Hes barely kicked a ball all season. Players like Mark Noble who have performed to a high level all season must be wondering what it takes to get a shot. Defoe had done more than enough to earn a place as well. Maybe not a starter but he's still the best finisher England has.

Apart from that the rest seem alright. Should do well in this tournament.

With regard to Defoe you have Vardy and Kane who have to go, arguably Rooney probably has to go so leaves Sturridge, Rashford and Defoe fighting over the 4th spot really. Defoe was never going to get a look in despite scoring as many as he has done for a side thats battled relegation all season playing up top on his own which is how Hodgson will probably play.

Wilshere is in there because when fit whether he's played 5 mins or 5 hours this season he's one of the best central midfielders in the country. He can play deep or play pushing on so i would think if he can prove through the three warm up games he is fit, and he played an hour for Arsenal yesterday, then he should be going.

I'm probably getting rid of Drinkwater, Delph and Rashford i think.

Milner has been brilliant for Liverpool this season...been a shoe in to go for ages.

Milner being rubbish is a ridiculous notion perpetuated by people who know nothing about football!

the three I'd lose would be Delph, Townsend and Rashford

I'd guess Wilshere is there because when fit he offers a dimension that none of the others do.

Milner isnt rubbish just not international class, he is an ex winger who had no pace, what does he bring to the party because he wont score he wont produce assists and he isnt creative....he runs about a lot though....water carrier.

Yeah.......Sicknote! Has only played 1 game all season, shouldn't be anywhere near the squad!

Sometimes you need someone who runs around a lot to occupy the opposition whilst the others play around him.
