Like many I've long advocated Jones as a winger - he's gotta be the fastest at the Club and can deliver quality crosses.

Indeed his attacking abilities arguably outweigh his defensive ones.

Donahue behind him, though?

Steady, but many questions still to be answered.

As for E-B, I'm prepared to draw a line under last season's controversies and offer him a fresh start.

His success at Wolves is now just a distant memory and if he doesn't do it this year, well, I'd guess the likes of Mansfield, Macclesfield or Morecambe will become his only option.

You'd think Dennis will be straining at the leash to prove himself at our level; E-B must adopt a similar attitude.

ha ha. I agree. He's not without it.

Good leader, good passer, very hard and committed, dangerous at set pieces. He gets into trouble some times through poor positional play. I think a big decision has got to made about him before September. He's far too good for our reserve standard so he's got to be given a chance, and then if he's not ready he's got to be loaned out. I personally would pick him ahead of Raglan.

Pretty much what I think to a tee. I'm not one of these "he needs to beef up" type of blokes who thinks every CB should be massive but I saw some pics of him topless on Twitter (please don't) and was thinking that'd be his downfall if he didn't put some timber on, he looked so frail for a CB, but that was months ago now and I've not been to any pre season games yet so fingers crossed he's a bit sturdier now.
