Might next week see a statement from the club saying 'Chris Turner has left the club to seek new opportunities'?
Now I know what you're all thinking - fat chance! But I'm sure there's more to this deafening silence than a CEO hiding in a corner, waiting for things to die down.

possibly, I think DA has used CT as a buffer to hid behind, but how long can that last, I think sunday will be interesting, I am going down, it is free, will be interesting to see who is around and prepared to show their face, no point in boycotting this one, just don't hand any money over.

I think a good barometer of how much feeling the Sheffield mafia have for our club is reflected in the effort put into celebrating our 150 years of existence,a gala dinner at Chatsworh which is out of reach financially for a good proportion of our fans, pre season games at home v Owls knowing they would bring loads and help to pay for the jaunt to Hungary,Leicester reserves/kids,Shinner's testimonial, can't help but feel sorry for him as he couldn't have picked a worse time to have a testimonial.
You've really pushed the boat out CFC,not.

When the subject of likely opposition to mark the anniversary was brought up, Chris said that efforts were being made to line-up a game against European opposition. “We’re looking at Italian clubs because there is an Italian contingent in the town,” he said.

What, Lombardi's? Is that how we approached it - asking the waiter over the starters if he happened to know anyone at Juventus? 'No signor'
'Never mind..... Ilkeston away it is then'
