I hope he does, get the media circus over rather than overshadowing Shinner's testimonial on Tuesday.

I gather he has a couple of small niggles but to quote one of newest signings (who is currently lodging with an ex-loanee striker in Sheffield) he is "absolutely on fire" in training.

28/1 to be L1 top scorer with Skybet....

Kids are free. But I'm not sure they'd appreciate it as much as a trip to the zoo or seaside.

I was hoping to see Jon Nolan in last 2 friendlies. Anyone know if his groin injury is bad, how long out etc.

Too much to hope for a ruptured ACL today or similar such career ending injury?

(Not the most professional thing Ive ever said but I'd love to never see him set foot on a pitch again)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that come Christmas, most folk will be asking what all the fuss was about.

I'm pretty sure the player will be exonerated of rape - though not necessarily of ugly behaviour, will've scored a few but not enough to attract undue attention, whilst the team as a whole will be plodding a mediocre path through the L1 season.

Infact I'd hazard a guess that off-field events will continue to occupy our thoughts far more than on-field ones.

I think you'll be correct with your predictions. Ched won't score enough to get himself attention for one thing the supply line is next to shocking. I agree I can see us struggling at the wrong end of the table again and there's nothing so sure about the off-field events taking priority :angry

All in all Chris, even a fool could have predicted that one ;)

If someone smashed face in for a comment like that I'd say they were more narrow minded than him tbf.

I'm sick to death of that div slagging one of our players off....and wishing he has a career threatening injury just because he shagged some bird who cried rape. Call me narrow minded if you like.....but if he said that to me that's what he'd get.
