scrub that, they're 10/1 for promotion (inc play offs) and now 40/1 to win the Championship

You can get 80/1 on them winning the league

Attendance 4,063

So that is about 1800 home fans. More than I thought

A fair number of Wednesday fans in the west stand, a big group behind me started the minutes applause on 13 minutes (tribute to a 13 year old fan who died of a heart condition) 2,414 advance tickets were sold to Wednesday

I'd estimate 600 less home fans than expected, with about 400 more than usual turning out at Matlock

Ageed. I thought Ariyibi looked stronger on one to ones, especially when he got to the line which led to a near miss by Dennis.
Evatt also made several good cross field passes. Fulton looked good on crosses. As you say this game came too early, Wednesday are 5/1 for promotion to the championship, so 2-0 was a respectable result.

U mean premiership lol

It will be intessting to see the attendance against Derby. I doubt Derby will bring that many what with them playing the blunts the night after

Got to say I haven't decided yet, think I'd like to know where the receipts go and how much the club will trouser

My guess is that the total crowd v Derby will be 2500-3000.

That's probably the best barometer of all, 'M'; like-for-like.

Well, as best as can be perceived.

Look; Dave Allen doesn't do social media, definitely doesn't read 'Bob's Board', has a dismissive attitude towards those contributing to phone-ins or their like and is almost certainly insulated from punters' views by those around him.

However he can't ignore the kind of negative publicity generated over the last week or so and will never ignore plummeting income from the loss of punters and sponsors.

Even if those responsible will no doubt blame everyone and everything but themselves.

Like it or not boycotts similar to those witnessed in 1999/2000 are probably the only way to initiate change.

And last Saturday's crowd was only the start.

I've got a feeling the first couple of home crowds could be eye openers for one or two at the club.

Can anyone remember what DA did for Wednesday while with us, when Milan Mandaric was running them? Did he agree to write off some debt to him, to help them despite his acrimonious dealings with Wednesdayite? I don't know if this was out of honour or legal obligation but seem to recall it was a decent thing to do at the time. If so, that's a good sign regarding any worries about him leaving us in a bad situation.
