Bike stops in the tracks of the riders - how stupid is that.
You don't see that on Alpe d'huez.
They will need to do something about that in terms of times.

Incident partly caused by the finish being moved....had it been the normal finish then there would have been barriers at that distance from the finish keeping the crowds out.

How come there were boos for Froome afterwards...
If there was no accident he would have put another 30 secs on Quintana who looked shot.
Hopefully he'll put a minute in him tomorrow.

Love to see him on the podium after that crazy crash and his attacking.

Porte has come good and bar his bad luck early on could have been pushing Froome. Interesting to see that after yet another year of talk about Quintana to do well at the Tour he has been anywhere near Froome, Porte and even Yates. I suspect, could be famous last words, he might get another pasting today as well.
Really hoping Yates can stick it out to get on the podium as well....been a cracking ride from him since the collapsing banner fiasco!!

I got the winner wrong thankfully but got Bardet right which means the collaborators will be drooling come next year.

Quintana very disappointing this year.
Think Thomas will get to lead a team?

Not sure. Contador no, Yates not yet, Bardet no as his second place was due as much to others mifortune, Quintana don't know but looks perennial bridesmaid. However Aru is interesting especially if both he and Nibali are primed by not doing a Giro? However that is highly unlikely.
Porte should be his nearest challenger next year in my opinion and re Thomas - no chance.
