This is the part that still irks me a bit, and yeah i'm as guilty as anybody but if we really think we are in the final stretch of our existence, as seems to be a consensus on this thread, then why do we think, we, as fans, haven't done more? Genuine question and not a pop but seems comments from other fans on social media and other forums suggest we aren't doing enough compared to fans of other clubs being taken to the cleaners by owners.

Genuinely I believe it’s because we all know it won’t make a blind bit of difference to the pensioner- if anything it’s like to make his opinions even more entrenched

Each situation is different. Each club with an unpopular owner has its own unique dynamics.

Part of what's going on here, or not going on, is that people suspect that whatever is done it will have zero affect. The owner doesn't go to games. He doesn't care what people think and whatever happens he isn't going to unduly inconvenienced.

The other concern, as I see it at least, is that if protests were made in a way that caused him personal embarrassment or inconvenience (his home or other businesses) he'd simply pull down the shutters as a final FU to all of us.

Any club for which the business side appears to be failing could be shut down at the owner's command. The people at Charlton, Coventry and clubs like that could have shut the things down as soon as the fans got a bit annoyed. I grant you that DA is not the same animal as other owners but the fact that an owner might shut a club down didn't prevent fans from protesting elsewhere. He may well be more inclined to pull the plug than the others, but for some reason it appears worth more to him as a loss-making vehicle driven by an incompetent than it does as a bare patch of land.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Start with something simple....just print hundreds of copies of that list off and hand them out at a game then either keep it or dispose of it on the nearest bit of grass.....anybody got a printer? 🤪🤣

There's a lot on here claiming to be staying away and I certainly don't go as much as I used to but I'd come down for a home game if all of those staying away or those involved in a lot of the hard work in collating that list agreed to get together go around the pubs pre match and distribute copies around the stadium. Those that wanted to go to the game could then go, and those who are staying away can enjoy a pint over the road!

If the general consensus us the shutters will come down anyway, in reality, do the fans have much to lose? It's a case of go down quietly, or go down making abit of fuss I guess.

Certainly not, I would have been quizzing her about what she knew about the allegations, as at the least this was a major performance issue. As for Point 20, this confirms he failed to do this.

Have you asked Ashley what he is playing at?

No, he only pointed out the error in the report with the wages figure and the club didn't appeal

I believe there is only one reason for that, the same reason why no action was taken following your meeting on 25/01/17 and the same reason point 20 of the FA's report reads as it does.

Like me, I think you know the reason.

why does the pensioner allow this “you can’t touch me” attitude at great financial cost to himself?

I do not believe for one minute that Chris Turner would break wind without telling Ashley beforehand.
