An FYI. Anyone travelling to Billericay by true blue will receive a £5 discount on a true blue travel cost of their choosing in December or January.
Lesley has said that the club will be working with Bridge Inn in the new year to offer something similar and then to the other travelling fans later.
It is something has has to be done in stages, but she is committed to the club showing some appreciation to the travelling fans this season.

That s good

Can I have a £5 fuel voucher for travelling in my car? The club may as well provide incentives to travelling fans instead of money being wasted on say, solicitors and lawyers costs and fines.
Have passport will travel

I'm not knocking the theory but it's typical of the club that they do something that will only cost the club money. No one will travel who wasn't going to anyway.

Surely the idea should focus on getting people to support home games.

My thoughts entirely, lets encourage people to put money in the pockets of someone else....

Getting people to spend more on the concourse / attend at all at the Proact ought to be step number one.

Agree with you both however, I imagine that this iniative is designed to bolster and reward our away support, as it is recognised that an increased vocal support away from home benefits the team.

Also agree more could be done to reward and encourage home support - a few wins might help.

I agree totally BUT anybodyw illing to go to Billericay on a Tuesday night deserves a medal in my eyes.

Got a mate landing from Toronto Tuesday morning and going straight to the game. I don't think he's wired up right but each to their own.

Re-read it, it cannot all be done at once. Lesley is working on it.
