you can not comment on performances that you have not witnessed I agree.
you can comment on the state/status of the club though.
you all have the right to decide whether to go or not for whatever reason you choose.

our owner does not attend games - hardly a great example/advert for his club.

to comment on another point brought up on this thread, Ashley carson - the masterstroke of dave allen because people keep focussing on him, yet he is simply the person dave allen (the non attending "I don't do failure" owner) uses to front up his own decisions. In a chess game carson is the queen protecting the king (DA).

Not normally a fan of S&D but I think some of you may have missed the irony in his OP.

I read comments on here for information about my home town team for a couple of years without ever commenting, because I rarely saw more than highlights, living as I do at the other end of the country.

I finally changed my mind when it became clear to me that plenty of people clearly do attend games without having the least idea of what is going on and thus feel empowered to make the most damaging assessments of both individual players' or entire teams' ability.
