At the midweek Q&A Martin Allen said the following: I will play my strongest team on Saturday, and that Fortune and Reid were not currently good enough to be in the starting line up!!!! Oh the irony.

He’s absolutely clueless. Decent at presentations though.

When Fortune and Reid went off, things improved a bit. A waste of budget I'm afraid.

He seems to use pre match interviews as propaganda to throw the away management off the scent of his match day intentions and to send coded messages to the players. I’m not sure it’s working in either case. It’s not very useful for fans who want to know the real position before a match and I would think the independent media reporters are getting fed up with it too.

I could not believe MA's selection today, he called Reed and Fortune the other night and said they weren't good enough, but what the idiot do play them from the start. (was he taking the pee the other night). JBW is a waste of space why did he leave Muggs out when he had been pretty solid in recent weeks,. We had 30mins of some cracking football, went ahead then sank into our old routine of sitting back and eventually gave them enough room in midfield to rocket a free shot into goal. 8 unbeaten, but where's the next win coming from this side of Christmas?

Getting closer Dave, now try Reid! (this would be your 5th attempt to get his name right!) :windup

No, he didn't like being pulled up on his own rhetoric. Didn't stop a few fans having a pop at me online (yet I got a round of applause on the night!). MA got and easy ride in my opinion.

Never mind mad dog. I’d rather have Moondog.

Allen’s lost plot, sat nearby in the West stand today and some of stuff he shouts might as well be in Hebrew, players just look at him gone out

One of the more intelligent questions on the night and no he didn't like it.

How has he still got a job??
We are clueless all over the pitch, the players don't seem to know each other or what formation they are playing, they make Sunday league look organised
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

He will have got an easy ride because the majority just go for a night out and sit there like rice puddings.
