Ac & Betting On The Manager

Following an investigation into a bet placed by my son on the new manager of Chesterfield FC, prior to Martin Allen’s appointment, I have been now been informed that The FA has concluded their investigation and will be taking no further action.
There will be no further comment on this matter.

Tread very carefully on what is said on this one.

Lies, damn lies and then there’s Carson.
No further comment, well some form of apology for dragging the club through more bad publicity would be a good starting point

“Surely the whole thing was a non story anyway, a daft lad doing what daft lads do. Won't be the first time, and won't be the last time kids will embarrass theur parents. Don't you just love them!”
Wow, just wow.
Geoff, as you’re no longer an employee there is no longer any need to apologise for the club.

I took that to mean an agreement had been reached, not least the money being returned.
I can’t honestly imagine the FA would have just said “no, it’s fine, it’s not he first betting scandal at the club, but carry on as you are”.

As for the Carsons I think a ‘no comment’ is enough.

It's amazing how some, what you would think are sensible people, screen shotter etc, attach themselves to this lot!

Yes there will, at the AGM.
So now we have 'no comment' about both this and the illegal payments scandal. Shareholders surely have a right to know what the FA findings were on both matters. The alternative is that individuals, if guilty, are free to carry on doing what they like doing without future employers or partners ever knowing. Fine if they are innocent, but has somebody has already pointed out, there's the obvious possibility from what has not been said that individuals were guilty but have been able to hide the fact.
Publish the findings!!

His son merely had a hunch who would be the next manager and took a punt. If he had any inside information he’d haven stupid to then place the bet himself and even more stupid to then out the winning bet on social media. That’s how I see it and how the FA must have seen it.

With that amount of foresight, initiative, knowledge of the game, and good fortune, he must surely now be promoted within the CFC hierarchy!

Isn’t/was t he emplOyed by the club as a youth team coach? So shouldn’t be betting on any football markets?
Indeed, even just as a family member of a football employee shouldn’t be betting on football?

Ashley is lucky in that it was only his son Jordan who placed a bet on the appointment and posted his betting slip on social media, Lord knows how it would have looked if other family members had done the same.

Remember that a crony is monitoring social media and running to his mate Ashley with anything critical.
Dunno if he's been asked to do that or it's simple sycophancy, however I do know at least one fan has received threatening e-mails as a result.
So, well, just be careful...yeah?

As long as you post factual truth there is nothing he can do except moan and send threats behind the keyboard
Keep taking the alledged medication to prevent stress Carson or the best way to get rid of any stress relating to CFC is to just go

So Geoff's still some self appointed human shield, is he?
Some of his amateur alchemy on Radio Sheff was legendary - no matter how huge the Town turd he'd give it a good ol' polish.
Infact in a very similar way to the crank who used to post on here as Xerxes and Beelzebub...

It's odd that he enjoyed anonymity on here through the use of multiple pseudonyms yet happily makes a berk of himself under his own name elsewhere.
