I’m no Liverpool fan

.......but what hit home to me last night and this morning........listening to ex-players and ex-managers and Klopp himself.......is what a family the club is.

From the tea lady to the manager and the kit man to the chief executive......every person has a common goal......to play a part in the greater success of the club that they all care so much about

Let’s create that here at Chesterfield when our new start happens.......working together for the greater good.......sounds simple; it isn’t but if we start from the beginning with the right ethos it can work.

It's amazing what can be achieved when nobody cares who gets the credit.

I think its fair to say we used to have that, but its slowly been eroded (purposefully??) over the last 10 years or so

Trouble is, it takes far more time to build it up than eradicate it.

Cooky got everybody pushing in the same direction but obviously the powers that be didn't like it.
The thing is, it doesn't start with any particular one person now, it's down to everybody as a collective to get this ball rolling.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

'The right ethos'.

Three little words that mean so very, very much.

Then was the kit man reference a freudian slip?

Because he arguably represents the crass cronyism some see symptomatic of everything wrong at the Club better than anyone.

Though sadly he has some strong competetition.

Infact for all Carson's twee talk of staff by their first names it'll take more than the same old 'lessons have been learned/mistakes won't be repeated/things are gonna change' platitudes repeated then quickly forgotten last year. And the year before. And the year before that.

And...and...and...

We all want the same thing. We all want the same spirit surrounding our early days at the new place. We all want to see Town emblems around the area instead of the Blunts stuff so often on display now.

But a change of ethos can only happen with the exit of each and every person perpetuating the current one...

Ain't going to happen only money brings success to football .We are at this level we are because of arrogance and capitalism .We are a level lower than we was after Darren Brown had shafted us .Here's to hope as only hope remains 😢

Thousands gather and party tonight (as you’d expect I guess).
But as Liver Buikding was lit blue they have set fire to it - apparently.

Unbelievable

Liverpool should be deducted points for the moronic behaviour of the fans, trashing their own city in celebration of their teams victory. Would serve a dual purpose of serving as a warning to idiot fans of other clubs and also throw the title race open again leading to more people watching the remaining games on TV. I think a 9 point deduction would suffice, Liverpool would almost certainly still win the league anyway.

There's more to it than that, Everton's Chairman bought it in 2018, not that it excuses the behaviour

Nothing to do with the team though so why deduct points? Plus a nine point deduction would be pointless anyway because there not suddenly going to collapse and Chuck a 14 point lead away as it would be if they had 9 deducted.

I think I get what you are driving at but haven't WHU ( fans and club ) paid for and admitted to their wrong doings in the past ?

…… Unlike LFC who seem reluctant to accept blame for anything ( April 1989 not included in this comment )

That family club that opted to go down the furlough route, before being forced into a backtrack on that due to their fans pressure and reaction (same goes for Spurs too)?

Yet a few others clubs in the Prem did so and got no backlash at all?
