They haven’t signed Jack Lester they e signed Bowery a lad who has done well to make a professional career for himself. Before his big money move if you had done a poll on where will Jordan be in five years I suspect not many would have said still playing league football. Has some good attributes but doesn’t use his size like he should.

Gotta give Mr Mid-Life Crisis credit for going big again - what is it with rich blokes and hokey-cokey attitudes? - as even making signings right now is a gamble, let alone ones way beyond their crowds.
Either way we need look no further than ourselves over recent years - the likes of Ebanks-Blake and O'Grady, for example - to see chucking wedge at over-the-hill players wins you nowt...
